I’m walking backward.
I thought I had to be more concerned with my looks and images at my age than when I was a teenager. (teenager is the age that concerns about looks the most, but that’s not what I meant.) I thought I would be more stubborn than when I was a kid. No… not at all.
Maybe because at this stage of my life, I don’t have anything to protect like everybody else at my age. I don’t have to act like an adult with responsibility like everybody else. I don’t have to create any image for myself. I can just be an adult the way I am.
It seems to work really good within my social group at least.
You are what you do… Maybe that’s what happens to me. My job in Thailand was just a short period of time. It hasn’t created any image for me, yet. I’m just as new as a new graduate, who has to build himself to wherever it is he wants to be.

ted.com
Ted.com is a really interesting video site, full of inspiring video clips. It’s like a youtube for a more mature audience, or someone without short attention span. (SMS me right away if you see anyone like that.)
Since childhood, I liked reading biography the most because of most people worthy of having their own biography would have really interesting and inspiring lives. I also like reading stories, and what more interesting than a very inspiring real life story?

10 things I want to tell my kids.
1. There is no reason not to be nice to anybody unless they don’t deserve it.
2. It’s ok to let others take advantage of you a little, but never ever take advantage of anybody.
3. Everybody has something worthwhile to listen to even though they’re obviously stupid.
4. Don’t ever blame other people, fate, or luck for your own mistakes.
5. Remember everything worthwhile, and also remember some silly things, too.
6. If you’re like me, your biggest obstacle in life is yourself.
7. Be honest, don’t cheat and don’t lie
8. You will have to do things you don’t want to do a lot more than things you want to do.
9. Be nice to your dad when you’re a teenager.
10. Don’t just let anybody take your “being nice” as an opportunity to walk all over you.

Piracy Boosts CD Sales?
According to a research funded by Industry Canada, P2P downloaders buy more CDs.
There are two comments about the research I really like.
Why does it have to be that downloading INCREASES music sales, and not just:
People who download music LIKE MUSIC, and therefore are prone to buy more in general regardless of torrents.
Why does downloading and buying have to be directly linked in the behaviours of my mind, they are cousins (similar trends) and not twins (where one only gains if the other looses).
and
These statistics do not apply to me. Ever since I began file sharing, I have stopped buying cds. I support the artists by going to concerts and buying merchandise.
Besides, most of the artists I listen to are dead. If I bought their CD, I wouldn’t be supporting the artist. My money would go strait to the record executives, and I see no point in doing that.

The radio
I’ve been back for about two months. Thai TV sucks. Radio has nothing interesting to me. Until now…
I have to get up a lot earlier than I used to just to tune in to 99.5 and listen to P’ Sun, then Piano of The Radio. Like Simon Cowel would have said, “It is like a breath of fresh air” to the Thai radio waves. Thanks to a friend who literally force me to listen to the channel. Yes,…I’m hooked now. ![]()
