MP3fiesta.com

I thought buying music from iTunes was a total rip off. You have to pay almost as much as buying a CD, while you only get the songs in digital format, no touchable material whatsoever. And, Apple might get as much as 10 cents per song.
Why do I need to think about ‘buying’ if I can just download the songs for free from torrent and just plain google search, you might ask? Because, I don’t feel good doing it that way.
I found MP3fiesta.com a few days ago, and kinda shocked what they have to offer. You can download any song from their list (millions) for about 10 cents per song. Who are they?

They are Russian. Is it legal, you might ask? Check out this article. It is definitely legal in Russia, for sure, but questionable in the US. Some thought it was kinda fishy, but none thought it was illegal.
If you are concern that the artist doesn’t get a dime from this website, this guy has a solution for you.

Feeling uncomfortable because the artists don’t receive any money?
This is a good reason to stay away from Russian download stores. On the other hand, why don’t you solve this by paying the artist directly? Put a dollar bill for every album you have downloaded in an envelope and send it the corresponding artist. You might even add a letter in which you explain why you have done this. A dollar per album is probably more than artists receive for sales over iTunes and other Western music stores.

Oh, I forgot to mention a few things. They offer DRM free songs and in a better quality than the rest of the download site. (iTunes for example.)
