Dude, this is like a conversation between just you and me...LOL. PMOG looks interesting...I think I'll give it a go. I don't do to much coding, so I think I'll do without Firebug--although Measureit looks like a handy tool.

You should REALLY use NoScript because you never know when you might come across some malicious javascript. And MediaWrap = ability to watch thaitv.tv in Firefox on Linux. MediaWrap FTW.

Great insight. Believe it or not, being Thai doesn't seem like something to be proud of for a lot of Thais, especially those coming from Thailand, not a foreign born (like you?). Look at all the Thai undergrad/grad students in the states, they generally try to hide their origin if nobody asks them.

What is their reason? Ashame that they come from a third world country? They don't think being Thai is something to be proud of? Maybe so, I don't know. It seems to be that way...

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on the bittorrent issue. I've come to appreciate the features of a good torrent client and removing those features, especially throttling, would ruin it for me.

However, the rest of the features including NAS, are a big bonus. The firewall is a given and the ability to be a file/media server comes with it being a NAS device. Print servers are nothing new, but web serving capabilities definitely make it more interesting. Also, the ability to use OpenWRT is a big plus.

I'm happy with my WRT-54GL w/ DD-WRT as it is. Adding NAS to it would be a big plus...of course, why not just add a dedicated NAS device since everything is already working cool? Self-conflict is the worst...*sigh*

I've been looking for something like AppDelete...why the hell didn't Apple include a usable package manager with OS X? I mean come one now, it's freaking 10.5 now. Geez.

Quicksilver is a given. For Linux users Gnome Do is a good replacement.

I can see the usefulness of Jing for use it making tutorials (or just helping a friend out) by showing just how something is done.

I'd like to add that Xslimmer (http://www.xslimmer.com/) is great for cutting the fat out of those universal binaries.

Also, don't forget DataRescue II for your data retrieval needs.

As for bittorrent clients, Azureus is just to bloated for me. I kind of like Transmission (http://www.transmissionbt.com/). It kind reminds me of uTorrent (in the way it functions, not the way it looks) and it integrates well into the OS X theme.

It's a bit different because of the ethnic make-up of the countries. The U.S. is much more diverse and quite a young country (~200 years). This means that the population is comprised of mostly immigrants or descendants of immigrants. Therefore, it's quite "natural" that there should be an established process of "naturalization" (pun intended).

In Thailand, however, the ethnic demographics are a bit different. Although Thailand has a large population of non-natives, many identify with a sense of Thai nationalism. Ask almost any Thai of Chinese descent what they are and they will tell you that they are Thai. Someone asks me what I am and as a U.S. Citizen I reply that I'm 1/2 Thai and 1/2 Chinese. I'm Chinese on my father's side, but he was born and raised in Thailand. Therefore, identifying oneself as being Thai is almost considered to be, exclusively, a birthright. Either you're born Thai or you're not Thai. This means that you are either Thai by blood, or you were born in Thailand.

Since many U.S. Citizens who are born citizens don't even identify with their citizenship, it makes it less meaningful. On the other hand, being Thai is something to be proud of. It's a different way of thinking altogether.

No personal blogging experience here, but I've heard good things. Anyhow, it ultimately comes down to personal preference. You should use what's most comfortable.

While this has little to do with functionality, the themes for Flock are a bit sparse (understatement). I hate not being able to customize the look, especially after tweaking my Linux theme so much. I need to go for the entirely integrated look. Maybe you can just design your own Flock theme (because you have so much free time)?

Regarding the extensions, I'd be interested to know if a few key extensions work with Flock such as: Adblock Plus, NoScript, and MediaWrap. These are 3 of many I just can't live without.
